Pi Consulting increases scheme secretary and governance team
Pi Consulting is pleased to welcome Ruth Pearse to its expanding independent pension scheme secretariat team. Ruth is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) and her time as a technical specialist with the Pensions Regulator, combined with her secretarial experience with UK Power Networks and her role within the Corporate Pensions team at National Grid, makes her a valuable addition to the team.
Ruth’s appointment complements the recruitment of Katherine Lloyd and Sandra Boateng in 2014. Katherine joined from First Actuarial and is continuing with her PMI exams, having part qualified as an actuary. Sandra was previously at University College London where she helped implement their auto enrolment process. As well as being an Associate of the PMI, Sandra holds the Diploma in International Employee Benefits.
Susan Smith, Head of Consulting at Pi, said “Ruth’s appointment reflects our growth in the provision of independent secretarial and pension management support to Trustee Boards. We believe this area will continue to expand due to the increasing focus on transparent governance and a need for expert, independent secretarial support. We are seeing an increasing demand for our range of governance services, in both DC and DB areas of the market, which we believe is best supported by highly qualified and experienced individuals. Our recent recruitment of Ruth, Katherine and Sandra will enable us to continue to support our clients in these areas and build towards our aim of becoming the leading provider of independent scheme secretarial services”.
