Meet some of the faces behind our company
Lucy has over 30 years’ experience in the pension industry and as a highly knowledge scheme secretary has managed a number of complex projects. Prior to joining Pi, Lucy was Secretary to the Parliamentary Contributory Pension Fund and the House of Commons Members Fund. She was responsible for governance and strategy working closely with the Trustees of each fund and senior management within Parliament and Government.
In addition as Head of Corporate Member Services within the House of Commons, Lucy led the Corporate Services response to Member requirements and General Election response so is used to meeting high standards under pressure. As part of her role as scheme secretary she is also experienced in running public sector procurement exercises.
Prior to joining Pi Consulting , Temi spent 18 years with a major benefit consultancy, where she was responsible for providing secretarial and governance services to a portfolio of clients. With a background originally in administration, Temi has a strong understanding of all aspects of scheme management and regularly presented administration reports at Trustee meeting in her previous role as an administrator. She has a first-class honour in Business Management and a Diploma in Retirement Provision from the Pension Management Institute.
Simon has over 10 years’ experience in the pensions industry, primarily working for leading third-party administrators. He is passionate about delivering a first-rate service to clients and has extensive knowledge of DB and DC benefits administration.
Prior to joining Pi, Simon managed a large DB administration team which focused primarily on project delivery. These projects included scheme valuation and bulk buy-outs, as well as regulatory exercises such as GDPR and GMP reconciliation.
As scheme secretary support, Simon will help ensure meeting management and governance projects are delivered as efficiently as possible.
Susan is Head of Consultancy and has over twenty five years’ experience in the pensions industry, working in benefits consulting, administration, secretariat services and pensions management. She now provides secretariat services to a number of Trustee Boards providing a wide range of benefits.
Previously, Susan worked in a variety of roles within Mercer, undertaking various management duties. She has worked with a range of trustee boards, employers and advisers in helping to establish appropriate and proportionate governance frameworks.
Since joining Pi, Susan has spearheaded our DC governance proposition for trustees and employers. A prominent member of the pensions industry, she is a Fellow and council member of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI), for whom she is a regular speaker. She also holds the PMI Certificate in Pensions Automatic Enrolment.
Sandra provides a range of trustee board services including scheme secretary, trustee governance and adviser reviews. She has over 15 years’ experience in the pensions industry mainly as a key member of in- house pension teams including Guardian Royal Exchange, Scottish Equitable, GUS, Pearson and most recently GlaxoSmithKline prior to joining Pi Consulting in October 2016.
In her role as pension scheme secretary she has been involved in the design of governance procedures and protocols as well as the implementation of risk management frameworks. Sandra provides specialist secretarial support for main boards and a range of committees designed to cover a number of complex scenarios. She is also experienced in the use of web based documentation and governance systems.
Sandra is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) and has a Degree in Mathematics with Theoretical Physics.
